AIQ (aiq.ph) is a free, ad-free, gamified web app that teaches AI literacy to children and teens. Solo play requires no account at all and works entirely on your own device. Joining a class, or creating a teacher account, is optional and adds the features described in our Privacy Policy. By using AIQ in any of these ways, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
The learning content is designed for ages 5–18. A teacher account (email + password) may only be created by someone old enough, under Philippine law, to enter into this agreement on their own behalf — in practice, an adult educator, parent, or guardian. A student joins a class using a code, nickname, and PIN provided by that teacher; the teacher is responsible for getting whatever consent their school or household requires before setting a class up. AIQ does not verify age or identity for either role, consistent with collecting the minimum data described in the Privacy Policy.
AIQ, its lesson content, and its source code are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, any warranty that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Lesson content, including quiz facts, is written to be accurate but is not professional, medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and should not be relied on as such. Part of the curriculum was drafted with AI assistance under human editorial direction, and the Filipino translation has not yet been reviewed by a native speaker (noted on the relevant pages) — treat both the same way you would any free educational material from any source: useful, but worth double-checking before you rely on it for something that matters.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AIQ and its creator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app — including loss of data, loss of progress, or any decision made based on lesson content. Because AIQ is free and ad-free, and collects no payment from you, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to zero (₱0).
Don't use AIQ to harass, impersonate, or collect information about another person; don't attempt to bypass the class-code/PIN system to access another student's or teacher's account; don't use any automated tool to scrape, overload, or attack the app or its API. We may suspend or delete an account that violates this section.
A display name or class nickname you choose stays yours; we don't claim any rights to it beyond what's needed to run the app, as described in the Privacy Policy. The application's source code is separately released under the MIT License, and the lesson curriculum and long-form guide content under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. Those licenses govern reuse of AIQ's own code and content; they don't change anything above about how the hosted app itself may be used.
Some lessons and pages link to outside websites (behind a parent-gated interstitial where the app links out on its own) or load third-party libraries as described in the Privacy Policy. AIQ isn't responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any site or service it doesn't control.
We may update the app or these Terms as AIQ grows. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above; continuing to use AIQ after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
AIQ is built by Alfredo Palconit Jr. in the Philippines as a free, open educational resource. For questions about these Terms, use the feedback form in the app or visit aiq.ph.
